The Road To Character 

Do we need to fight our internal selves to become elevated to a higher realm of existence, and thereby freedom? Certainly. Brooks does a fine job at illustrating how one may develop themselves beyond the resume-type self; we are, inherently, seeking for internal meaning and satisfaction.

In a generation where we tend to live for recognition and career-oriented goals, this book dissects historical figures which succeeded in finding internal meaning through escaping the confines of societal hierarchy and monetary success.
